60p Pick4 ticket scoops £15,248 as Champions League returns

Our first juicy rollover of the campaign for you to get your teeth stuck into coincided with the Champions League returning. 4 fixtures over 2 days, this Pick4 rollover went on to reach a massive total pool prize of £503,212! We would see some big winners come full time Wednesday evening.

Here we look at one lucky ticket holder to become the latest member of the Colossus Winners section, and after placing their bet with a total stake of just 60p (3 lines – 3x1x1x1), this lucky punter would soon be reaping the rewards…

Man City v Juventus

Punters picks: AOH, 0-1, 1-2

What a cracker to start with. Last seasons runners up Juventus, who were very much domestically out of form, travelled to the very much in-form Manchester City. Our punter had to wait the best part of an hour for City to take the lead through Chiellini’s OG, but when Mandzukic netted a 70th minute qualiser, only a Juve goal was likely to rescue this tcket, and Morata obiged. He popped up with an 81st minute strike to keep the dream of a rollover windfall very much alive.

PSV v Man Utd

Punters picks: 2-1

Back in the Champions League after last seasons absence, the team from the red half of Manchester opened their campaign with a trip to their bosses homeland against PSV. It would be a trip to forget for United. After seeing Luke Shaw disappear with a serious injury early on, things took a slight upturn when Depay struck against his former employers late in the first half. Their lead was short lived. Moreno struck an injury time first half equaliser, then on the hour mark, Narsingh made it 2-1. 2/2 for our punter going into legs 3 and 4.

Dinamo Zagreb v Arsenal

Punters picks: 2-1

With the Croatian’s unbeaten in over 40 games domestically, it would be silly for Arsenal to underestimate their opening group game opponents. Their team selection suggested this was exactly what they had done though – good news for our Pick4 player. Needing a 2-1 home win for a shout at a big cash prize, Dinamo took a deserved lead after 23 minutes through Pivaric. 15 minutes later, Arsenal’s lone striker Giroud was given an early bath for 2 yellows, further raising the hopes of a home win. Fernandes made it 2 zero on 58 minutes, meaning our punter needed one Arsenal consolation goal for 3/3. Second half sub Theo Walcott done the honours with a neat 64th minute strike.

Roma v Barcelona

Punters picks: 1-1

With legs 3 and 4 kicking off simultaneously, a half time Partial Cash-Out was our punters final chance of ‘taking a bit’ before the final period kicked off. So after Suarez’s 21st minute Barca opener had been scrubbed off by Florenzi’s 60-yard wonder strike, it would take a brave man to hold firm and not Cash-Out with the scores already 1-1. But, hold firm he did and what a decision it would prove. With 3.3 winning units in the pool, this 3 line 60p stake ticket went on to win a huge £15,248, yet another example of why Colossus Bets is the home of producing big winners from small stakes!
