He was unlucky on debut behind a top-class prospect in France and has a stronger chance than his odds suggest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips: LULAMBA, EAST INDIA DOCK, HELLO NEIGHBOUR, LARZAC &amp; MONDO MAN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>14.00pm &#8211; William Hill County Handicap Hurdle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KARGESE<\/strong> has two Grade 1 wins under her belt and will be fitter after her comeback run at Ascot. She could be chucked in here off a mark of 141 on handicap debut and will be hard to beat. <strong>HANSARD<\/strong> finished third behind this week\u2019s Champion Hurdle 1-2 at Wincanton and will relish a strong pace. <strong>DADDY LONG LEGS<\/strong>, <strong>MCLAUREY<\/strong>, last year\u2019s winner <strong>ABSURDE<\/strong> and last year\u2019s Boodles winner <strong>LARK IN THE MORNIN<\/strong> also go on my ticket.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips: KARGESE, HANSARD, DADDY LONG LEGS, MCLAUREY, ABSURDE &amp; LARK IN THE MORNIN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>14.40pm &#8211; Mrs Paddy Power Mares&#8217; Chase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DINOBLUE<\/strong> would have won this race last year if the ground was a bit better and she didn\u2019t concede first run to the winner. She\u2019s looked as good as ever this season and can make it fourth time lucky at the fixture. <strong>BRIDES HILL <\/strong>will bounce off today\u2019s ground and represents a stable who is having an excellent week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips: DINOBLUE &amp; BRIDES HILL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>15.20pm &#8211; Albert Bartlett Novices&#8217; Hurdle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A strong pace should play to the strengths of <strong>THE BIG<\/strong> <strong>WESTERNER<\/strong>, who won a Grade 2 contest last time out off a modest pace. Her trainer bagged a double yesterday and she has been saved for this race, so she ought to run very well. <strong>DERRYHASSEN PADDY<\/strong> looks tailor-made for this course and his trainer, Lucinda Russell, is confident of a bold performance from her rising star. He has so much more to offer and I\u2019m convinced he will be hard to topple.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips: THE BIG WESTERNER &amp; DERRYHASSEN PADDY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16.00pm &#8211; Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>History awaits! <strong>GALOPIN DES CHAMPS<\/strong> can become only the second horse to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup three times in a row. He is head and shoulders above today\u2019s field on form and class, and can register a fourth Cheltenham Festival success. He is my banker on the ticket.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips: GALOPIN DES CHAMPS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16.40pm &#8211; St. James&#8217;s Place Festival Challenge Cup Open Hunters&#8217; Chase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANGELS DAWN<\/strong> won the Kim Muir over C&amp;D in 2023 and would have made the frame in last year\u2019s renewal without falling at the second last.
