CARLA\u2019S WAY created a deep impression on debut at Doncaster and ran well to finish eighth in the Albany at Royal Ascot despite doing a lot wrong throughout. She could take some beating, while PRETTY CRYSTAL and KOMAT cannot be ruled out. The latter will appreciate the step up in trip and is of interest.<\/p>\n

CHARYN is a very smart horse who has placed in the Irish Guineas and the St James’s Palace Stakes and was third in the Sussex Stakes over C&D when last seen. He is the one to beat back down in grade, while KNIGHT returned a respectable fourth over C&D last time and has room for improvement. Recent C&D winner EPICTETUS, who beat Knight, is feared.<\/p>\n

SAXON KING made it two wins from five this year when scoring in a good race at Chester and ran well last time at Newmarket despite returning a beaten favourite. GRAIGNES has been back to his best the last two times, winning emphatically at Kempton and then at Sandown. James Doyle takes the ride and his mount can bring an end to the winning steak of Lucky Fifteen.<\/p>\n
