TACARIB BAY<\/strong> has always been held in high regard by connections and while he couldn\u2019t land a blow in the 2,000 Guineas, likewise to when down the field in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot when badly hampered, he capitalised on a drop in grade when scoring on handicap debut on his penultimate start. He was unlucky not to finish closer last time at Ascot when denied a clear passage when travelling well but still managed to grab second. I have no doubt he\u2019s the best horse in this race, so he\u2019s expected to be in the shake-up. SAFE VOYAGE<\/strong> isn\u2019t the force of old but he\u2019s a multiple pattern-class winner and was unlucky when fourth in the Group Two Lennox over C&D two years ago. He appeals at large odds.<\/p>\n

The very classy HOO YA MAL<\/strong> is going to start a short-priced favourite but rightfully so given he is miles clear of these on ratings and on the form available. This year\u2019s Derby runner-up ran a tremendous race to finish second in the Gordon Stakes here last time behind New London and would have gone close without his rider dropping the whip at a crucial stage. This is a huge drop in grade and, with William Buick doing the steering, he should have no trouble in beating these comfortably for his new handler.<\/p>\n

A disappointing turnout for this Group Two event to be completely honest with only five going to post but it should present a good opportunity for MUTASAABEQ<\/strong> to collect the spoils. He holds the edge on the form available and is clear of these based upon official ratings too. After an excellent head second to Chindit in the Summer Mile at Ascot last time, he\u2019s strongly fancied to go one better. Finest Sound, who\u2019s been in good form this year, can chase home the favourite.<\/p>\n

Ralph Beckett\u2019s KEEP BIDDING<\/strong> would have definitely won at Kempton last-time-out had she not hung badly left in the final furlong in which she threw completely through the race away. However, connections will have tried to iron out that problem ahead of today\u2019s assignment and therefore if she can keep straight, she should have too much for these, especially when her previous fourth in the Woodcote is the best form on offer.<\/p>\n

He has gone up two-pounds but should remain competitive here with more to come. MAYSONG<\/strong> was badly hampered in his hat-trick bid at Newmarket last time but still ran well to finish seventh of 11 and will find this much easier. He\u2019s feared most here.<\/p>\n
