CLIFFS OF DOONEEN <\/strong>was much the best of these a few years ago, in which he was rated as high as 104 and was a fair seventh in the Ascot Stakes two years ago off 94 when trained by Ralph Beckett. He might not be the force of old now but he\u2019s dangerously well-treated at this level and Graham Lee takes the ride. NIKHI beat a useful sort last-time-out and could follow up if in similar form here.<\/p>\n

He hasn\u2019t won for a while but has been knocking on the door this year and could be about to cash-in on a reduced mark. TANGLED<\/strong> is also well-treated at present and would have a strong chance of winning off this mark if he gets a clear passage.<\/p>\n

SPARKLE IN HIS EYE <\/strong>has won four of his last seven starts and he wasn\u2019t beaten far at Musselburgh last time. He should continue his good work this year with another bold display under his seven pounds claimer.<\/p>\n

If he can reproduce that sort of form in this race, he should, at the very least, go close. RHYTHM<\/strong> was unlucky not to win here back in June when a close-up third after not getting a clear run and could make amends off a two pounds lower mark.<\/p>\n
