Uttoxeter betting tips<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

12.40 – Novices\u2019 Hurdle – 2m3f<\/strong><\/p>\n

BALAGAN arrives here in good form having won two of his last three races. He benefited from wind surgery to score over C&D back in July and hasn\u2019t looked back since, improving further to score at Market Rasen. He should be thereabouts once more under Bryony Frost.<\/p>\n

SUNNY EXPRESS hasn\u2019t managed to win yet, but shaped encouragingly when second at Wolverhampton last time out behind the smart Getariver, and if able to build on that, he\u2019s worth considering.<\/p>\n

SMITHS CROSS is the highest rated in the field based on his chasing exploits. Though he hasn\u2019t run for some time, he has gone well fresh in the past, so if ready to roll, he\u2019s not out of things.<\/p>\n

13.15 – Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This looks an absolute minefield, so it might pay to side with a few in the race with hope that we can get past this tricky leg on our preview.<\/p>\n

LAYERTHORPE won three of his four races last season, but didn\u2019t seem to be suited by the step up to 3m2f at Newton Abbot last time. This trip is more within range, and being only 3lb above his last winning mark, he holds valid each-way claims.<\/p>\n

JESSICA RABBIT often finds one too good and that was the case back over C&D around 41 days ago. Anyway, that form looks really solid, so he\u2019s a big player in a race lacking any strength in depth.<\/p>\n

GRAND ENTERPRISE produced his best effort when second at Southwell last time, and the form of that race has taken a boost with the winner going in again since. A similar effort here could well see him go one better.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

13.50 – Handicap Chase – 2m4f<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another weak-looking, but wide-open handicap on today\u2019s card. MOANS CROSS could represent some value at the prices. He\u2019s a course winner off a 7lb higher mark, and will appreciate the drop down in grade here.<\/p>\n

ANOTHER TUCO ran his best race over hurdles when runner-up at Ffos Las in March, and although he\u2019s not been seen since, he clearly has claims of going well here now his career revolves around fences.<\/p>\n

CITY NEVER SLEEPS makes his chase debut here on his return to action, so he might need the run. However, he\u2019s finished runner-up in four his last five races, and if translating that form to fences, he should take some beating.<\/p>\n

14.20 – Handicap Chase – 2m4f<\/strong><\/p>\n

This looks competitive, therefore I\u2019m going to chance three in the race for our next leg.<\/p>\n

Firstly, KEEL OVER, who showed plenty of ability in hurdles races thus far, and although he\u2019s yet to tackle fences, I strongly suspect he will be ready for this given connections have a pretty good record at the track.<\/p>\n

VUE CAVALIERE unseated when last seen at Market Rasen having jumped poorly. However, she\u2019s more than capable of winning this given she\u2019s contested better races than this so far in her career, and her handicap mark of 100 makes her an extremely well-treated individual.<\/p>\n

CAPTAIN SPEAKING didn\u2019t shape at all that badly when keeping on well to finish fifth on chase debut at Stratford. He will have learnt an awful lot that day, so he can\u2019t be discounted in a winnable race.<\/p>\n

14.50 – Handicap Hurdle – 2m3f<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another highly-competitive handicap on show. Tom Lacey\u2019s HUNTING PERCIVAL has won two of his three races, and won nicely here 41 days ago over two miles. The step up in trip should unlock further improvement, and he looks as though he is well ahead of this mark making his handicap debut.<\/p>\n

Nicky Henderson\u2019s fine strike-rate at this track could be enhanced with CHASAMAX, who has placed on all three occasions for connections despite racing<\/a> far too keenly. If he can settle better here, he shouldn\u2019t at all far away on his handicap debut with NDB riding him again.<\/p>\n

ESPALION returned to form with a gritty second place over C&D previously, and he\u2019s only 2lb higher today. With that being said, I can see him involved at the finish once more.<\/p>\n

15.20 – Handicap Chase – 2m4f<\/strong><\/p>\n

FORECAST looked set to collect at Perth last month, only to fall five fences from home when travelling strongly. He\u2019s been given time to get over that fall, and could make amends with a clear round today.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile bottom-weight OSCAR ROSE travelled and jumped nicely on her chase debut, and although she found little for pressure, she will have learnt a lot, and is expected to be in the thick of the action in receipt of weight from all her rivals.<\/p>\n
