I’ve got a busy weekend in store with four rides across three different tracks. On Saturday I have two booked at Uttoxeter<\/a> but on Sunday I’ll be starting the day at Fontwell<\/a> in Sussex before hopping in the car and racing up to Cheltenham<\/a> where I’m riding one for Jeremy Scott in the Bumper!<\/p>\n

Saturday 16th November<\/h3>\n

12:45 \u2013 2m4f \u2013 Maiden Hurdle (Class 5) (4yo+)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Orrisdale (61-) (Jonjo O\u2019Neill)<\/strong><\/p>\n

A novice horse with some real good bumper form.<\/p>\n

Won a good bumper at Bangor with the second and third then coming out to do really well over the hurdles. It\u2019s his first run over hurdles this season and obviously the ground\u2019s going to be soft there but he looks a nice type on paper and should have a very good chance.<\/p>\n

15:35 \u2013 2m \u2013 Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race (Class 5) (4-6yo)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oneupmanship (Jack Barber)<\/strong><\/p>\n

He\u2019s quite well bred, relating to the types of Thisthatandtother and other famous horses. Oneupmanship is a horse I like a lot and one that has had some nice runs.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, on Saturday he\u2019s up against an Olly Murphy horse called Grandad\u2019s Cottage that was a \u00a3200,000 purchase owned by John Hales. Obviously that sets a very high standard so it\u2019s a shame Oneupmanship has to go up against him in that race to be honest.<\/p>\n

12:25 \u2013 2m5\u00bdf \u2013 Novices\u2019 Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) *3yo+ 0-100)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hold Me Tight (5-2630) (Polly Gundry)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m riding a horse called Hold Me Tight in the opener at Fontwell on Sunday. He\u2019s yet to win but has four second placed finishes to his name and , after finishing second and third at Newton Abbot in the summer, he\u2019s got good form in the sun and has a sporting each way chance really.<\/p>\n

16:00 \u2013 2m\u00bdf \u2013 Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race (Listed Race) (Class 1) (4-6yo)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bellevarde Express (Jeremy Scott)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next I\u2019m making the two hour journey up to Cheltenham where I\u2019m riding Bellevarde Express for Jeremy Scott in the Bumper. She gets a 7lb allowance and has shown all the right signs at home so I\u2019m hopeful she\u2019ll run a very good race.<\/p>\n
