After the most successful week in European competition history for English clubs, the Premier League is unquestionably the greatest league in Europe once more.<\/p>\n
Many perceive Manchester City as the best side in the country and their late win over Leicester on Monday has probably secured them a second consecutive title. However, domestic champions doesn’t have the same ring to it as European Champions, and a day later Liverpool staged an incredible comeback to reach the Champions League final after thrashing Barcelona in the most dramatic fashion<\/a>.<\/p>\n The most dramatic, that is, until Wednesday night. Tottenham were 3-0 down to Ajax but staged their own mini-miracle to join Liverpool in the final, courtesy of a 96th minute winner. Predictably, social media went wild<\/a>.<\/p>\n On Thursday night it was over to the Europa League. Arsenal comfortably defeated Valencia for the second time in a week to progress whilst Chelsea made hard work of Eintracht Frankfurt, ultimately reaching the final via a penalty shootout.<\/p>\n So Chelsea will take on Arsenal in Baku for the Europa League title, before Liverpool and Spurs do battle in Madrid three days later for the Champions League. The winners of these two matches will face one another in Istanbul in August for the European Super Cup, to determine who is the overall greatest side in European, right?
