1\/ Virgil Van Dijk<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 1)<\/em><\/p>\n

Liverpool conceded twice against Burnley but Van Dijk was still a colossus in the Liverpool defence and the stats back up what the eyes tell you. The big Dutchman has now played 32 Premier League matches for the Reds, guiding his side to 18 clean sheets and the concession of just 17 goals. Led by Van Dijk, Liverpool catch opponents offside (3.6 times per game) more than any other team in the division and he\u2019s won a higher percentage of aerial duels than another other Premier League defender who has contested at least 90.<\/p>\n

2\/ Raheem Sterling<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 3)<\/em><\/p>\n

But watch your back Virgil as Raheem\u2019s coming with a late run! Sterling enjoyed top spot earlier in the season before a slight lull but he turned it up to full power on the weekend with a stunning second-half hat-trick in Man City\u2019s 3-1 win over Watford. That\u2019s 15 Premier League goals for the season (ranked fifth), nine assists and eight Man-of-the-Match awards.<\/p>\n

3\/ Sergio Aguero<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 2)<\/em><\/p>\n

Aguero remains the leader in the Golden Boot race but they\u2019re jockeying for position behind him. He couldn\u2019t add to his hefty tally of 18 Premier League goals against Watford but still played his part and has six assists for the season too. Down a spot though due to that treble from his team-mate Sterling.<\/p>\n

4\/ Eden Hazard<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 4)<\/em><\/p>\n

Chelsea were rather flat at home to Wolves before Hazard came to the rescue by blasting one into the bottom corner to earn a last-gasp 1-1 draw. There have been a few dips but the Belgian\u2019s numbers are superb this season \u2013 13 goals, 11 assists and 11 Man-of-the-Match awards. Without him, the Blues would be in a much bigger mess.<\/p>\n

5\/ Sadio Mane<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 9)<\/em><\/p>\n

Mane just can\u2019t stop scoring at Anfield and added another brace in the 4-2 win over Burnley to make it eight in his last five home games. His tally of 16 Premier League goals is impressive enough but, if penalties didn\u2019t count in the Golden Boot race, he\u2019d be the league\u2019s joint-top scorer!<\/p>\n

6\/ Paul Pogba<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 5)<\/em><\/p>\n

He\u2019s been the leader in Man United\u2019s revival under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, racking up 11 goals and nine assists this season, but the Frenchman didn\u2019t play in that magical win away to PSG and hasn\u2019t registered a league goal for over a month, picking up a yellow card in the 2-0 loss to Arsenal. That cooling off sees him drop a couple of spots.<\/p>\n

7\/ Mo Salah<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 6)<\/em><\/p>\n

In terms of goalscoring, it\u2019s not quite happening for Salah right now and he\u2019s gone four games without a Premier League goal which is unheard of for him in a Red shirt. But he\u2019s still been a vibrant attacking force in recent home games, buzzing around and creating mayhem, and the Egyptian boasts 17 Premier League goals this term and seven assists.<\/p>\n

8\/ David Silva<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 8)<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ll keep him at No.8 for now but Silva is coming on strong as the home straight beckons and could be one of the absolute key players in the title race. Set up Sterling\u2019s third in the 3-1 over Watford at the weekend and is approaching the dazzling quick-footed form he displayed earlier in the campaign.<\/p>\n

9\/ Harry Kane<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 10)<\/em><\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s doing his bit even if his team-mates aren\u2019t backing him up. A goal on his return against Burnley, the equaliser in the north London Derby, a memorable winner in Dortmund and the opener at Southampton even though Spurs went on to lose two and draw one of those games. Despite the missed matches, he has 17 Premier League goals, just one fewer than Aguero.<\/p>\n

10\/ Heung-Min Son<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 7)<\/em><\/p>\n

Shouldered extra responsibility during Harry Kane\u2019s absence and netted 11 goals in 12 games during a hot run of form from December to February. The energy and effervescence remain but his output has dipped with no goals in his last five games in all comps.<\/p>\n
