He\u2019s now actually \u2018only\u2019 the joint-top scorer in the Premier League but there\u2019s also the little matter of three assists to go with those seven goals and he\u2019s found the net once every 95 minutes. Chelsea still cruised past Burnley without him but if they\u2019re going to win trophies, Hazard remains the key ingredient.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

2\/ Virgil Van Dijk<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>Shock, horror\u2026 Liverpool conceded a Premier League goal at Anfield for the first time since February and the cross that led to it even took a slight deflection off the big Dutchman. However, this Reds defence is transformed, it’s turned them into title contenders and Van Dijk is the main reason they\u2019ve conceded just four goals in their opening 10 Premier League games.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u> <\/u><\/p>\n

3\/ David Silva<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>(Last week: 5)<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>Does he ever dip below 8 out of 10? Does he ever misplace a pass? Silva showed his usual class, vision and control in Man City\u2019s 1-0 win over Spurs at Wembley and I\u2019ll nudge him up a few spots this week for his sheer, relentless excellence.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u> <\/u><\/p>\n

4\/ Raheem Sterling<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>(Last week: 4)<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>There\u2019s a Belgian, a Dutchman and a Spaniard above him but Sterling is surely the best English player over this early part of the season. Set up Riyad Mahrez\u2019s winner at Wembley and caused Spurs problems throughout. Four goals and three assists shows off plenty of end product.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u> <\/u><\/p>\n

5\/ Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

(Last week: 6)<\/p>\n

<\/u>\u201cGoals pay the rent and Keegan gets his share,\u201d goes the David Coleman commentary as KK nets twice in the 1974 FA Cup final for Liverpool. Well, Aubameyang is more than paying his way after joining Hazard at the top of the charts with seven. In all comps, he\u2019s banged in eight in six.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>6\/ Sergio Aguero<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>Nothing wrong with firing a blank against Spurs but the rankings were close so others have jumped above him due to more profitable weekends. Six goals is a healthy return but as the main striker in this amazing City team there\u2019s a slight element of par for the course about it.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

7\/ Callum Wilson<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>(Last week: 8)<\/p>\n

<\/u><\/u>Has to climb up a spot after his double in the 3-0 win at Fulham kept Bournemouth punching way above their weight in sixth spot. Wilson\u2019s goals (five) and assists (four) have given the Cherries a cutting edge that\u2019s the envy of far more celebrated rivals.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

8\/ Mo Salah<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>The Egyptian king comes storming back into the charts after returning to last year\u2019s giddy standards by smashing in four goals in the last week. That\u2019s five strikes and three assists in the Premier League after he opened the scoring against Cardiff and set up two more.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

9\/ Glenn Murray<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n

<\/u>The Seagulls have won three games in the top-flight for the first time since 1981 and Murray has netted the winner in two of them. His strike against Wolves at the weekend was his 100th<\/sup> for Brighton so it\u2019s two milestones for him this week as he also cracks our top 10 for the first time!<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

10\/ Marcos Alonso<\/a><\/u><\/u><\/b><\/h3>\n
