1\/ Eden Hazard<\/a><\/h2>\n

A hat-trick and yet another man-of-the-match display on Saturday, with Cardiff the latest victims of the Belgian\u2019s brilliance. The theory that his relative lack of goals will stop Hazard reaching the very top may need some revising. He\u2019s now the Premier League\u2019s leading scorer with five in five and the main reason why Chelsea are top of the table on goal difference.<\/p>\n

2\/ Sadio Mane<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: 1)<\/em><\/p>\n

He\u2019s been the most dynamic of Liverpool\u2019s celebrated front three during their 100% start to the season with four goals in five. Gave Spurs\u2019 defenders a constant headache on Saturday and played a huge part in the Reds\u2019 second goal which ultimately made the difference.<\/p>\n

3\/ Virgil Van Dijk<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: 4)<\/em><\/p>\n

The late concession of a goal at Wembley was a slight frustration but Van Dijk again produced 90 minutes of class and composure. Liverpool have the best defensive record in the Premier League having conceded just twice and he continues to look worth every penny of the \u00a375m which Jurgen Klopp forked out.<\/p>\n

4\/ Marcos Alonso<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: 3)<\/em><\/p>\n

Seems more of an attacker than a defender in this Chelsea team and is relishing his role under new boss Maruizio Sarri. While it holds, I\u2019m happy to keep on trotting out the stat that he\u2019s had more shots on goal than Harry Kane this season. Also one more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang too. Only three players in the PL have had more touches of the ball.<\/p>\n

5\/ Sergio Aguero<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: 7)<\/em><\/p>\n

With three goals and two assists \u2013 including one on Saturday in the home win over Fulham \u2013 Aguero has had a hand in more goals than any other City player this season. He\u2019s also hit the woodwork three times and attempted more shots than any other Premier League player so the Argentine striker has been in the thick of the action.<\/p>\n

6\/ Romelu Lukaku<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: N\/A)<\/em><\/p>\n

Goals make the difference and perhaps first goals do even more. For the second game running in a United shirt, Lukaku popped up with the opener, paving the way for their 2-1 win at previously 100% Watford. The Belgian has four in the top flight now and looks to be on one of his streaks.<\/p>\n

7\/ James Milner<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: N\/A)<\/em><\/p>\n

The eyes tell you he\u2019s playing blinders every week for Liverpool. The stats back it up. He\u2019s bagged a goal and two assists, had the fifth most touches (462) of anyone in the Premier League, is in the top 20 for tackles made by a midfielder and has made more passes than any other Reds player.<\/p>\n

8\/ Roberto Firmino<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: N\/A)<\/em><\/p>\n

Superb against Tottenham before he went off with an eye injury. Scored for the second successive game and also has two assists this season. That jumps him ahead of Mo Salah in terms of contribution.<\/p>\n

9\/ Wilfried Zaha<\/a><\/h2>\n

(Last week: N\/A)<\/em><\/p>\n

Palace had lost their last 12 games without him. Zaha returns from injury and bangs in a brilliant winner in the 1-0 victory at Huddersfield. He might be higher in the list but every time he scores he also gets booked. He\u2019s had three of each so far this season.<\/p>\n

10\/ Ryan Fraser<\/a><\/h2>\n

Bournemouth are the side stopping the top six being the top six already and Fraser has been hugely influential in taking them up to the giddy heights of fifth. Three goals and two assists for the Scot after his double in the 4-2 win over Leicester on Saturday.<\/p>\n
