Nope, his two-goal salvo on opening day wasn\u2019t just a one-off dream debut, the Brazilian youngster was at it again in the 2-1 win over Southampton, his thumping header doubling Everton\u2019s lead. What\u2019s more, those three strikes account for 75% of Everton\u2019s goals so far. He\u2019s not just adding icing and cherries, he\u2019s making the difference and winning points.<\/p>\n

4\/ <\/strong>Sadio Mane<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Shares top spot in the race for the Golden Boot alongside Aguero and Richarlison after keeping his composure to score Liverpool\u2019s late second at Crystal Palace. It\u2019s not quite happening for Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino \u2013 just one goal between them \u2013 yet but Mane has hit the ground running and looks the Reds\u2019 most lively frontman so far.<\/p>\n

5\/ Benjamin Mendy<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

The Premier League\u2019s leading assist maker with three in two games. He set up both in City\u2019s opener and added another in Sunday\u2019s 6-1 romp over Huddersfield. That tally of three is already more than City\u2019s collection of left-backs managed in the whole of last season. City were already the best; the fit-again Frenchman is giving them an added dimension.<\/p>\n

6\/ Callum Wilson<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Tipped by some for relegation, Bournemouth have six points out of six and Callum Wilson is a huge reason why. 1-0 down at the London Stadium, he turned the game by running through the entire West Ham defence and slotting home. That\u2019s two goals in two games.<\/p>\n

7\/ <\/strong>Neil Etheridge<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

At this rate, Etheridge \u2013 the first Filipino to play in the Premier League \u2013 will save 38 penalties this season\u2026. and Cardiff will still get relegated. It\u2019s two in two now and Saturday\u2019s stop in injury-time to deny Newcastle\u2019s Kenedy gave the Bluebirds a precious first point.<\/p>\n

8\/ Pedro<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n
