We have a Pick 4 kicking off on Saturday evening with Malaga vs Barcelona and Dave Tindall has previewed the pool with a Syndicate available<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Malaga v Barcelona<\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s top v bottom in La Liga so this looks like a pretty straightforward start.<\/p>\n

Barca have scored more away goals (32) than any other side and also conceded the fewest (7) on their travels. By contrast, Malaga\u2019s tally of 10 home goals is the lowest in the division.<\/p>\n

One thing a little different with Barca is that they don\u2019t rack up big wins as often as we\u2019re used to; in fact, the Catalan outfit have only managed to score over two goals in one of their last 11 games.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fairly easy to argue that they\u2019ll improve that stat on Saturday evening and as I\u2019m expecting a winning margin of two goals at minimum, we don\u2019t need to cover too many scorelines.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 0-2, 0-3, 1-3, Other Away Win<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Arsenal v Watford<\/a><\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s problems are well documented but it\u2019s their away form which is the big problem as they\u2019ve got the same number of points on the road as Newcastle.<\/p>\n

Only Man City and Man Utd have managed more home wins than Arsenal\u2019s 10 (from 14) and only Pep Guardiola\u2019s leaders have scored more home goals than the Gunners\u2019 impressive tally of 36.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have beaten Everton 5-1 and Crystal Palace 4-1 in their last two home games against non-top six opposition while Watford have lost three of their last four away matches and haven\u2019t scored in any of them so are less attacking on the road than they were under Marco Silva.<\/p>\n

The chances of a shock here seem much less likely than on first glance and I think Arsenal can rack up a few.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 2-0, 3-0, 3-1, Other Home Win<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bournemouth v Tottenham<\/a><\/p>\n

The visitors will have heavy hearts after their Champions League hopes were ended in three crazy second-half minutes against Juventus.<\/p>\n

That makes this a trickier match to call as I\u2019d have expected a buoyant Tottenham to have run out winners here.<\/p>\n

That said, for all their good play this season, Spurs have a habit of being held on the road and only a late goal from Harry Kane at Crystal Palace a few weeks ago stopped them playing out a seventh straight away draw.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth have been finding home goals easy to come by so I like BTTS and I think scoring draws have plenty of appeal here. Spurs are resilient though and, they have Kane of course, so if anyone nicks a win I think it will be them.<\/p>\n

Prediction: 1-1, Other Draw, 1-2<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Genoa v AC Milan<\/a><\/p>\n

After a miserable run between October and December, Milan are really going through the gears now under new boss Gennaro Gattuso.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re winning games to nil and have just taken four points from six away to top four sides Roma and Lazio.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s every reason to think that they bank three more points as, despite sitting 13th and well clear of safety, Genoa have a poor home record.<\/p>\n

True, they have done better in recent times but two of their three wins were against strugglers. They also beat Inter recently but the balance of power in Milan is swapping over of late and AC will be a far tougher nut to crack. Milan\u2019s ability to keep a clean sheet steers me away from BTTS although I\u2019ll cover 1-2 as well.<\/p>\n
