Werder Bremen v Hoffenheim (Sat 14.30)<\/h2>\n

Werder Bremen host Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon as the Bundesliga returns following a winter break. Max Kruse \u2013 Bremen\u2019s top scorer \u2013 is expected to lead the line for Florian Kohfeldt\u2019s side who find themselves on level points with 17th placed Hamburg.<\/p>\n

Nadiem Amiri is expected to be the only doubt for Julian Nagelsmann but what\u2019s more concerning is probably the departure of Sandro Wagner to Bayern Munich. They do have
\nMark Uth available, who is the highest scoring German while the porous defence of Bremen could prove problematic.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s fixture will be a good time for Hoffenheim to turn their away form around having lost their previous three fixtures while they\u2019ve conceded at least two goals in eight of their last 10 away games in the Bundesliga. That said, they should be too strong for Bremen.<\/p>\n

RB Leipzig v Schalke (Sat 17.30)<\/h2>\n

If the return fixture is anything to go by, then this should be a cracker. Doubts over new Schalke head coach Domenico Tedesco were soon eased with a 2-0 win over their opponents on the opening day of the season. There\u2019s a reason why this mouth-watering clash is game of the day.<\/p>\n

Tedesco\u2019s side find themselves in second, behind Bayern Munich but just two points and three places behind them is RB Leipzig. A doubt for this fixture, it now appears that Timo Werner will be fit enough, which could cause the Schalke back three problems.<\/p>\n

Schalke have won just three of their eight away fixtures, drawing three and losing two while RB Leipzig have scored at least two goals in eight of their last nine Bundesliga games at
\nhome.\u00a0 This tie certainly isn\u2019t to be missed.<\/p>\n

FC Koln v Borussia Monchengladbach (Sun 14.30)<\/h2>\n

If Saturday\u2019s fixture doesn\u2019t take your fancy, then there\u2019s always the fiery Rheinderby between FC Koln and Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday afternoon. Luckily for Koln \u2013 who won their only Bundesliga game on matchday 17 \u2013 form goes out of the window in this fixture, but there is a reason why they\u2019re rooted to the bottom of the league.<\/p>\n

It appears long-term absentee Jonas Hector could make a return while new signing Simon Terodde could lead the line. For Gladbach, the highly impressive Thorgan Hazard is expected to feature behind in-form Raffael which could make this a fruitful fixture.<\/p>\n

Koln are the Bundesliga\u2019s worst defence (conceded 32) but their arch enemies aren\u2019t too far behind (28).<\/p>\n

Borussia Dortmund v Wolfsburg (Sun 17.00)<\/h2>\n

After a torrid start to the Bundesliga campaign under Peter Bosz, Borussia Dortmund turned to another Peter, in this case, the former FC Koln head coach, Peter Stoger. It was an
\nappointment that raised eyebrows but ultimately, he\u2019s got them the results that now sees Dortmund lay third in the table.<\/p>\n

Going forward, Dortmund are likely to be without Christian Pulisic and Marco Reus but they should be able to cope with Martin Schmidt\u2019s Wolfsburg. The visitors to the
\nWestfalenstadion have won just three games all the season, drawing 10 and losing four as they remain four points above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

Over 2.5 goals have been scored in 12 of Borussia Dortmund\u2019s last 14 Bundesliga games,while this fixture could yield the same result. Fortunately for Dortmund, Wolfsburg have
\nfailed to win any of their previous seven away fixtures.<\/p>\n
