Have you ever wondered what ‘Other Home Win’, ‘Other Away Win’ or ‘Other Draw’ mean? The three terms are found in the our football pools<\/a>, as well as Correct Score markets in the wider betting community and are pretty simple to understand.<\/p>\n

What do Other Home Win \/ Draw \/ Away Win mean?<\/h3>\n

Each are selections\u00a0in Correct Score betting markets, designed to remove the need for solo players or Captains<\/a> to have to pick unlikely scores. Each of these scores have been grouped together into \u2018Other\u2019 brackets. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018Other Home Win\u2019 covers the home team winning by any score other than the ones specifically listed (4-0, 4-1, 5-3 etc) and \u2018Other Away Win\u2019 is the same but in favour of the away side (0-4, 1-4, 3-5 etc). Therefore, if a team scores 4 or more and wins the game, the result will be settled as an ‘Other Home\/Away Win’ depending on which team has won.<\/p>\n

\u2018Other Draw\u2019 covers all draws other than 0-0 and 1-1 (2-2, 3-3 and upwards).<\/p>\n

<\/h2>\n

When should you choose Other Home Win \/ Draw \/ Away Win?<\/h3>\n

In short, when you make your correct score predictions<\/a> and have the feeling that a game is going to be particularly high scoring, with one side thrashing the other or both sides fairly evenly matched but likely to score and concede at will.<\/p>\n

It is probably worth targeting traditionally creative and attacking sides, blessed with an array of firepower, such as Manchester City\"\"<\/a>, Liverpool and Arsenal. Conservative sides who seek to defend first, attack later are less likely to have high scoring encounters frequently.<\/p>\n

For example, 7 of the 11 meetings between Liverpool and Arsenal that took place between 2015 and 2019 finished as an ‘Other’ result.<\/p>\n

Another approach is to look for games that you regard as a mismatch. For example, in the four matches Manchester City player against the eventually relegated Stoke and Swansea, they registered wins of 7-2, 2-0, 4-0 and 5-0, meaning that three of the four victories were ‘Other’ wins.<\/p>\n
