Every week I will be previewing the weekend’s Pick 15.

The associated syndicate reference is: 551JGDNZ

We will always be going for the Jackpot of £800,000 with a maximum of 64 lines (£128 stake).

We will not Cash Out – we will not fold to pressure – we will win this thing!

Last week was looking very good at halftime during the 3pm games. We had a Cash Out of roughly 4x our stake to consider (and obviously refuse, because we never Cash Out). Unfortunately that was the last time it looked good. Some late goals, like Ipswich’s 2 minutes into stoppage time destroyed our dreams.

Each week I will be highlighting some fixtures as bankers – games that I have maximum faith in, but you should remain cautious as they don’t always come in.

Last week I picked Lazio and despite being 1-0 up at halftime, they completely fluffed it by letting in two late goals.

Bankers so far: 25 out of 53 (gah)

Bankers this week: Newcastle

Bournemouth vs Wolves

Wolves can easily beat some seaside town in the south of England. The most the retirement village of Bournemouth can hope for is a draw.

Selection: Draw / Away

Newcastle vs Huddersfield

Rafa has shown that the Newcastle board still have his back when he broke the transfer record to buy Almiron. They were probably fairly pleased with the 2-1 victory over Man City and after that against Wolves when they were only narrowly denied victory in the last seconds of the game. Huddersfield will be a piece of cake.

Selection: Home

Sheffield Wednesday vs Swansea

Wednesday have been crawling back to form with the relief of returning players from the sidelines, but Swansea are a stronger team than they’ve faced recently and I think they’ll be too strong for them.

Selection: Away

Norwich vs Bristol City

Norwich’s Pukki must really be enjoying this season as the current top scorer in the Championship. Only fools don’t back the league leaders when they’re at home, but Bristol have the best form in the league right now and even Norwich are not out of the question for them.

Selection: Home / Away

Brentford vs Hull

Swansea showed how to stamp on Brentford in the FA Cup. Hull will be lifting their foot up, ready to do the same.

Selection: Away

Stoke vs Aston Villa

Who knows how things are going to go for Dean Smith’s Villa? One second they’re coming back from 3-0 down against Sheff Utd in the last seconds of the game, and the next they’re utterly dire against Smith’s old club Brentford. It seems a draw is fairly likely here with neither team threatening to perform that well.

Selection: Home / Draw

West Brom vs Sheffield Utd

West Brom are favourites here, but Sheffield Utd have got Billy Sharp who scores almost every time he’s on the pitch. This should have lots of goals and looks like anything but a draw.

Selection: Home / Away

Dusseldorf vs Nurnberg

Nurnberg are bottom of the Bundesliga. I’m tempted by the draw but I feel the wise money is on a home win.

Selection: Home

Athletic Bilbao vs Eibar

Eibar have been putting in some very good performances of late, with only Barcelona managing to take all 3 points in any of the last six league games. This kind of form and high scoring looks too strong for Bilbao.

Selection: Away

Leganes vs Valencia

Valencia haven’t lost in the last 5 league games, so I think a draw is the minimum we can expect here. Leganes are very capable though and with home advantage they might just hold them to a draw.

Selection: Draw / Away

Sassuolo vs SPAL 2013

Sassuolo have scored 13 more goals this season than SPAL, and although the scoreline against Empoli was nothing short of embarrassing, they should bounce back here.

Selection: Home

Toulouse vs Caen

I have no faith in either of these, but Caen haven’t scored for over 450 minutes of play in the league, so it makes sense to reluctantly back Toulouse for the win.

Selection: Home

Man Utd vs Liverpool

No-one fancied Man Utd against Chelsea, apart from me of course. Liverpool are favourites and Klopp will be going all out for the win, but Solskjaer has showed the tenacity of his team when they bounced back from losing against PSG. I think either team could forge ahead in this.

Selection: Home / Away

Valladolid vs Real Betis

Real Betis really showed what they are made of in the Europa League when they came back from 2-0 down against Rennes. They look too strong for bookies favourites Valladolid in my opinion.

Selection: Away

Fiorentina vs Inter Milan

I just don’t really like watching Fiorentina play as they disappoint time and time again. Inter Milan aren’t scoring many goals but their defence is as solid as the rock of Gibraltar. I think Inter Milan 1-0 is nailed on.

Selection: Away
